A thought five months ago, has become a reality. Knowing that there was a big void information out there for the squash community, Myles and I decided to launch a podcast to convey all of the thoughts and issues on our minds and relay them to the squash universe. My son Morgan has been involved with squash for the last twelve years and is now a freshman player at Cornell University. So I've been around the game. Learned a lot. Learned what to do. Learned what not to do. And I've known Myles, our co-host, and his family for the last twelve years. I couldn't be happier having a partner that is so in-tune to the game. His love is just pouring out of the pours of his soul, and I'm just really excited that we can bring all of this information to you.
So, I'm gonna turn it over to Myles. Let him give us a little information on how he got attracted to the podcast and bit of his journey to this point.

Thank you Bruce. Ya. I grew up playing. I probably picked up a racket when I was two years old and just swung it on the ground like a hockey stick. That turned into playing some scrimmages here and there in Boston. Luckily, I got to play at the Saint Paul's school in New Hampshire for high school squash, which was an incredible experience. After that, I'm now playing at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. As Bruce said, this year been really interesting with Covid and it's changed how we play in college. And so we're excited to bring you information on that as well as many other wonderful stories. Growing up as a junior player, it's always been my dream to grow the game and introduce it to many of my friends ,because I experienced first hand how awesome it truly was. When Bruce approached me with the idea, I was all game and excited for our journey together. Two Dot Chronicles is truly an adventure filled with stories, both the action and the drama; and we're here to share it with the world.

Ya, and our first episode is entitled, "State of the Union". Having had the game on lockdown for the last year, we wanted an episode that would update our listeners on the state of squash in the juniors, college, and professional space. We have three incredible guests with us. We have Kevin Klipstein, the CEO of US squash. We have Gilly Lane, the head coach for the men's team at the University of Pennsylvania. And we have PJ, Paul Johnson, lead commentator for Squash TV and former number four player in the world.
Myles 3:03 - 3:52
We're super excited to have these guests on the show. I personally, I know Bruce has as well, but I've personally known them for a while now. Kevin is someone who's really been a crucial player in my development as a squash player, simply because he runs the organization that allowed me to grow into a real player. Gilly. Unbelievable coach and just an awesome guy. He's been a friend of mine on the tour when I was younger and someone that I always looked up to and admired as a player and as a coach. And finally, PJ is just truly a specimen of a commentator. Specimen of a guy. He's coached many of the star juniors that I competed against, and so I was usually on the other side of the court as they say. But we're excited to have them here and they're gonna really provide some point of view that everyone should hear. So, thank you guys for joining.
